                                                                           **Long Live the 1200!**

This auction is for a Yamaha FJ1100, 1200 CUSTOM Wiseco 1250cc .008 over 10.25 compression piston kit as shown in pictures 1, 2, 3 and 4. This piston kit is best used to "clean up" a Wiseco K1250 standard size piston kit while rebuilding. Allows the builder to Hone" the block instead of re-sleeving. 

This piston kit includes: (4) (.008 over) 10854M07917 pistons, (4) 3118XG ring sets, (4) S555, or S278 wrist pins, (4) CW18 pin c-clips (packs of 2), (1) 1250cc Yamaha head gasket, and (1) 1250cc Yamaha steel base gasket. This kit is a 1250cc and the piston size is 3.115, with a finish honed bore size of 3.117 / 79.17mm.

If you are using a FJ1100 or 1200 type block you will have to install a big bore type sleeve, LA Sleeve YA-991 or Advance Sleeve 3032 for 79 / 81 mm bores. We do have these sleeves listed in our store. The Yamaha FJ1100 and 1200 crankcases will require case bore machine work for clearance of the 1250cc sleeves. If you are using the European XJR1250 crankcases you will not need crankcase bore work for sleeve clearance.

If you need any machine work done to your block or crankcases, we also specialize in that service. If you currently already have a K1250 "big bore" Wiseco kit with the 79mm size piston bore, this kit (M07917) can possibly be used as a clean up (hone only) type rebuild kit.
