Convert Your FJ1100 or your FJ1200 Valve Cover to the Newer Style XJ Series Valve Cover. This is a Complete Kit with Everything You Need to Swap your Old Style FJ Valve Cover for the New Style XJ Valve Cover.

• 1 Valve Cover Gasket
• 8 XJ Allen Head Valve Cover Bolts
• 8 Green XJ Valve Cover Grommets

This listing is for one NEW valve cover KIT (as shown in pictures 1 & 2) for the Yamaha XJ1200, XJ1250, XJ1300 (air cooled) European style series engines which was only imported in the USA for use in the Legend Race Car and Baby Grand Stockcar series. This valve cover kit allows the purchaser to "adapt or update" the XJR series valve cover to an FJ1100 or FJ1200 series motorcycle. The kit comes with all hardware for this update, as shown in pictures 1 & 2. The kit also comes with a new Yamaha OEM valve cover gasket. Yamaha OEM retail prices combined for this kit retail at over 625.00, our price for this kit is 359.97.

Please check the Yamaha part number to make sure this is the part for your application. The MSRP on XJ valve cover part # 4KG-11191-01-00 which has been superseded to 4KG-11191-10-00 alone from a Yamaha dealer is 412.14, although I'm not sure if this part is available through Yamaha Of America. We have many other hard to find parts (new, used and re-manufactured) for this engine in stock. The part may or may not be in Yamaha packaging as we purchase in bulk and the parts are usually packaged differently to us.
