This listing is for one NEW Kibblewhite Precision Machining cylinder stud set, as shown in picture # 1 for the CB750 Honda. The product may fit other models but that is for the customer to decide. In this listing a SET is a quantity of 16 cylinder studs as seen in picture # 3. 

Pictures number 1 through 3 are of the listing and picture 4 is so our on line customers can see that we are a brick motor and steel building that has been in business in the same area for almost 20 years. Fits Honda CB750 1969 thru 1978 K models ( Excluding F2™, F3™, and K8 Models ). Replace your 40 year old stretched studs with these Heavy Duty studs from Kibblewhite Precision Machine!

Heavy duty cylinder studs are necessary to prevent head gasket leakage in high compression and turbocharged engines. Stock studs are made from poor material that will stretch and allow gasket leakage. Kibblewhite studs are made from heat treated chrome moly, centerless ground, and have rolled threads after heat treat for maximum strength. Kibblewhite originated heavy duty studs for performance motorcycles and today is recognized as the industry's leading manufacturer. Unlike a bolt, a stud uses all of the threads in the case, and it doesn't have to be removed during dis-assembly which adds wear on the case threads. Studs don't twist like bolts when being torqued down, so torque readings are more accurate.No matter whose parts you have in your engine, join the top names in racing and insist on Kibblewhite studs to hold it all together. Studs are the preferred fastener choice for high performance engines. 

Excluding F2™, F3™, and K8 Models 
Cylinder Head Studs are one of the most vital components in a high performance engine. They must offer high strength and the correct clamping load without being so brittle that they fail. This is especially critical in aluminum engine applications where the expansion and contraction of the head and case will vary the loads on the steel studs as they heat and cool.

KPMI® cylinder head studs for the CB750 Honda are manufactured from a tough patented steel that offers high tensile and yield strengths and just the right amount of ductility to resist fatigue and stress. This material also has excellent machinability which means an exceptional surface finish can be achieved on the threads. 

The threads are rolled and ground to give precision sizing and the optimum strength to the stud in this critical area. A special interference thread is specified for the case end of the stud to give the best possible thread engagement in the aluminum case. The entire OD of the stud is ground to insure a concentric part that does not interfere with the head or the correct seating of head nut.

Finally, a premium black oxide coating is applied to the stud to resist corrosion and to give an excellent appearance. Don’t compromise your rebuild. Use KPMI® Studs to hold everything together!
