This listing is for one NEW Setrab 910 oil cooler as seen in pictures 1 and 2. As seen used in Legend Race Cars, Baby Grand Stockcars and Dwarf / Mod-Lite Cars. This cooler is normally used in an auxiliary fashion for added cooling by running the top end oiler to the camshafts through this type cooler. It may work in other applications also but the customer needs to verify that before purchasing. During race conditions oil sump temperatures commonly reach 300 degrees and higher. Because of the engine oil being common (mixed) with the transmission, clutch and internal engine components lubricants are subjected to a much quicker viscosity breakdown and heat buildup. The solution to this problem is a compact ( 16"L x 14.50"(tank) x 2"W x 3"H ) all aluminum cooler in addition to the larger engine oil cooler to add extra cooling to the camshaft area of the cylinder head. EOC hp and btu/hr range based on specific performance parameters that if varied may result in different performance results. Low EOC hp and btu/hr range based on typical wet sump high-performance application and typical variable parameters. High EOC hp and btu/hr range based on typical dry sump high-performance application and typical variable parameters. Wet Sump Parameters include: oil flow rate, 5gpm; 20/50 engine oil or similar; 130ºF ITD; 60mph airflow.
