This auction is for a brand new Cometic Engine Case rebuild kit for the models listed below, FZR400, FZR600 and YSF600. This is an AFM kit not a fiber gasket kit. Pictures one and two are of the actual listing. Pictures 3 thru 12 are so our online customers can see we brick and mortar location with the equipment, inventory and personal to deliver the service deserved.

MATERIAL: AFM

THICKNESS: .032" or .65mm

The Cometic AFM material is the ideal choice for machined surfaces. Especially so for uneven, stamped surfaces that may have even been plated. The AFM material is a specially formulated, chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber which is bonded to an aluminum core with temperature resistance up to 250 degrees F !! . The AFM material has an 85% recovery while maintaining very strong torque retention. It requires the use of no sealants , is fuel resistant and does not need to be re-torqued.

THE COMETIC AFM MATERIAL IS FAR SUPERIOR TO STANDARD RUN OF THE MILL GASKET MATERIAL AND CAN BE REUSED REPEATEDLY !!
