This auction is for (1) Cometic EC2113032AFM .032 AFM style crankcase cover gasket that will fit a Briggs 20 HP V-Twin. This gasket replaces the OEM Briggs part number 845254. This product will possibly fit other models but the buyer should check the Briggs OEM number for those applications, we guarantee fit only on what we advertise. Please view below to see an explanation of what AFM gasket material is. The AFM Cometic gasket was manufactured for Andrews Motorsports and is a superior product to the standard fiber gaskets available. Some mechanics refer to the AFM style as a "leak proof" or "no leak" gasket and while it IS a superior design product we DO NOT advertise these gaskets as a "no leak" or "leak proof" style. This gasket should correct the issue of the OEM Briggs Gasket "blowing out" and bolts loosening around the dowel areas and leaking oil. Pictures 3 thru 12 are so my on-line customers can feel secure that they will be dealing with a company located in a brick, mortar and steel location that has the equipment, inventory and personal to give our customers the service needed and deserved. AFM (Aluminum Foam Material)
AFM is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with temperature resistance of over 250F. AFM material has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. AFM does not require gasket sealers or re-tightening. Available thickness: .018", .032", .060"
