This auction is for a Yamaha OEM 1250cc (10.00 / 1 COMPRESSION) cylinder (XJR1300) & Piston Kit as shown in pictures 1, 2 and 3.

 

This piston kit includes:

(4) custom 3.288 steel "big bore" sleeves,

(4) 3.110 OEM Yamaha XJR1250 (1300) Pistons 5EA-11631-11-A0, 

(4) 5EA-11603-00-00 ring sets

 

NOTE: Wrist Pins, C-Clips and Base & Head Gaskets Are Available In Other Listings If Required.

 

NOTE: Also including a newly machined XJR1250 (1300) European reconditioned block that has been sleeved, bored, honed, decked and is ready for assembly.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: This kit does NOT require crankcase boring (cylinder sleeve clearance) for the install of this big bore kit in the FJ1100 or the FJ1200 series engine. This was accomplished by having our custom 3.288 sleeves manufactured for the reason of "big boring" up to a 1314cc engine without having to split the crankcases and bore for sleeve clearance. The larger kits (1350, 1380, 1412) we offer using the larger sleeves will require the crankcases to be bored, unless using a set of the European XJR1250 (1300) engine cases.

 

All engine machine work was performed at Andrews Motorsports engine machine shop. The rings and pistons have already had the ring end gap set, so this kit should be ready to "plug and play".

 

Andrews Motorsports also has a .004 and .008 over piston available for rebuilds on this custom set up if needed.
