This auction is for a brand new Custom AFM Cometic .060 AFM valve cover gasket for the Honda CB450, CL450, CB500 Twin series motorcycles replaces Honda part number 12316-283-310 superceded to / from 12316-283-306. The gasket set is manufactured by Cometic and may fit other models but that is up to the buyer to determine. NOTE: This product is NOT a standard fiber gasket, it is an CUSTOM AFM high quality gasket. See description of AFM material gaskets below
AFM (ALUMINUM FOAM MATERIAL)AFM is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with temperature resistance of over 250F. AFM material has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. AFM does not require gasket sealers or re-tightening.
