This auction is for a brand new Custom Cometic AFM .032 Clutch cover (right side crankcase) gasket for the  Honda CB350, CL350 and SL350. The gasket is manufactured by Cometic and may fit other models but that is up to the buyer to determine. This gasket is listed as unavailable from Honda, plus our replacement is an AFM gasket which is an upgrade from the Honda OEM.

 

NOTE: This Cometic product EC1979032AFM replaces Honda OEM part number 11394-286-040.

 

NOTE:  What is AFM (ALUMINUM FOAM MATERIAL) ?!?!

AFM is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with temperature resistance of over 250F. AFM material has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. AFM does not require gasket sealers or re-tightening. Available thickness: .032"

NOTE 2: Some refer to these as "reuseable" gaskets. While we don't advertise that use we have reused the AFM style gaskets in the shop from time to time with no issues. However remember nothing last forever.
